Database server issue tonight

We've been having I/O issues on our database server ,tonight we had to update the raid driver on the server. It took awhile to get this done, due to an issue rebooting the box remotely. Back in action now.
 
Hard to say, it's step 1 in nailing down what could be causing it. There were some I/O errors in the event logs. We're on it is all I can say at this point, it is a tricky issue to figure out.

It should have been tossed from the array then. The I/O would have been almost exactly the same assuming one failed drive.
