Data recovery?

Anyone know of a HDD Data recovery program or
can you recommend a good service that does this?

Spinrite 6.0; from www.grc.com. Great program, takes a while to run on the larger drives, but very thorough and reliable.

Drivesavers or Ontrack. I've had good luck with Drivesavers myself. Price quotes run from $700 to $3400, depending on what is wrong and the size of the drive.

re-formatted a hard drive a while back and need some help getting old files off it now. Will any of these programs help?

R-studio. They've got a good demo that'll let you see what files MIGHT be recoverable, and it'll let you recover files up to 64KB.
