Data Recovery assistance

Ok i had a motherboard break. I had to swap it and when I started the computer back up it made me do a windows 7 startup recovery. I finished it and found out that it formated my C: drive and reinstalled windows. I lost all my data. Ive run EaseUS Data recovery (which I purchased to recover my data) and was able to get around 30% of my files back but I really need the other 70%. If anyone can assist me with this It would be greatly appreciated.

If you're serious about wanting to do a recovery of the drive, the only thing I can readily help you with at this moment, is stop using it as your boot drive/OS drive. Continuing to use the drive in that context will probably do nothing but make it worse. Think: Windows Updates, other software updates, Temp files, and whatever else the OS is doing to write to the drive just for normal use.

You need a new boot drive/OS environment, and you either need to find some good software for recovering files and run that drive as like a USB drive where the recovery software can look over that drive... It's that or maybe something like turning it over to some pros or something.

Oh I'm sorry I should have stated that I already removed the drive from the computer I've set it up as an external drive on a separate PC. So no data is being written to it at this moment.
