Data backup to a VCR...

Anyone remember the drive that hooked into your VCR and you could have a 2gig backup per VHS tape? I was just fiddling with the tape backups at work today and they reminded me of them. I believe Tiger Direct sold them circa 98-99...

Anyone else remember these cards?

Yes, I do. Backup worked brilliantly ... restore not so. Useless.

2gb per tape?!?!?! that may have been nice in 98-99, but with 40gb HDDs being the norm, that's useless now...
