I wonder why, I mean there was - as far as I can see - no harm done. 🙁
Well, on the other hand. It was probably challenging and they (who ever they is/are) did not want us to reach 1000+.
Now the paranoic idea came up: there should not be two nef-threads. And it is quite possible that the ethics thread was seen as such one.
Or it may be just a simply: "enough is enough". 🙁
Unfathomable are the ways of the mods... 😉

The thread is still there, just locked. Good (or bad) to see that I was 5th in number of posts in it. Let's just hope they don't hand out vacations according to number of posts in the thread. 😱
 
Ya think it was it showing up on the Hot Topic section? Mod was probably like "wtf could those DC guys be talking about that has that many posts?"
