I think its time that these 'free money' websites look at their business practices. My guess is that they probably get twice the money that you get for every product. Their idea is that they are advertising for these companies, and people will buy exclusively from these vendors because of the rebates. However, I really doubt this happens. From what I gather, people treat these rebates as a bonus, and it doesn't really affect their purchase decisions. Since these relationships with vendors will only work out from sheer volume, don't expect a lot of these rebate sites to stick around. Then again, I think the moon landing was faked...
