I got a Dash Express GPS yesterday.
It was $299 at frys, or $250 if I had gone with Amazon.
It has a cellular data network connection and wifi, and it talks to other Dash units and commercial traffic services (used by UPS, FedEx etc I believe) to get real time traffic data for surface streets.
In Los Angeles, I get data for almost any any 4 lane street (very common in LA) and even some 2 lane streets.
The data service is 10$/mo after 3 months, I am not sure I will renew.
Satellite connection seems very good, I got GPS even in an above ground garage.
CPU speed is also pretty good, and route calculations is reasonable (abt 1 min).
