That's not an SRT-4. Just like Nascar Monte Carlos are not Monte Carlos.

They shouldn't be able to call a car it's original name when NOTHING on the car is original.

It's still badass though. 😀
 
It's still a SRT-4. It's using the original engine, boosted only around 8lb's and stripped. Other than that, it's still a SRT-4. 😀

its the same block. You linked to a 8.2L supercharged V8 in place of a 4.6L. Not exactly the same thing.

It's only the same block because it's required that he use that block in the class he's racing in. Sure, it shares some things with a neon SRT-4, but it's a purebred race car. It was never designed to run anywhere but a 1/4 mile track. If it was street legal it'd be different, but it's jsut a FWD dodge powered race car. You can hardly call it a Neon with a few performance upgrades. What kind of gas does it run?

He didn't say it was a Neon with a few mods, he said it was a Neon at heart, which it is, and also what the drag Mustang is not. As far as what kind of gas it's running, it's only running 8psi, but I doubt it's using pump gas 🙂
