Haven't seen any. Heard about that before. I don't travel much, and what it's worth... I haven't seen any in my area of Columbus or along the route I take from Columbus to Toledo, which is US23 (from Columbus area to Findlay area), and then I-75 (Findlay to somewhat near by neighborhood).
All flat terrain.

Of the 10 places they'd place one, I cannot imagine it would be in my region... nor would I be that lucky. 😉
 
i don't get it, where are they?
random? how do you find them? just drive around the entire country dumping CO2 into the atmosphere causing global warming and hope you happen to find them?

I think the idea is to use a distributed force of people and social networking to form a large team and look for the balloons. Think about AT... We have people here from all over the country (world actually). It wouldn't take but a small group of ATer's (200 or so) to locate these balloons and win the prize.
