suddenly since this afternoon it was routing real slow.. i didnt know why.. i kicked off other users on my wifi (mac id security now) and it still didnt help.

I gave up but now after couple of hours its still bad, so i decided to change my dns to 4.2.2.2 on the router, for some reason teh router wouldnt change, so i changed it on my computer and the system is back up full speed.

I contacted comcast about it and they are useless when it comes to support.

4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.3 (public DNS) will be slower than comcast's own DNS servers but then again, if they're completely down they are your best bet ;)

Comcast DNS servers are a constent problem . I switched my DNS some time ago.

I was at a client's home today fixing his PC and all a sudden his internet stopped working. I noticed the Comcast modem and quickly changed DNS and it fixed it.

Comcast DNS sucks!!!!

ADDED: the funny thing is they have 2 DNS servers (primary/secondary) and both are down.. WTF
