Now, I am a bit concerned. My tracking on Amazon says FedEx Smart Post and the tracking number. It then says it is out for delivery on Oct 31st (and when tracking the number via USPS, it shows delivered to an area code not mine on Oct 31st). However, when I track via FedEx, it shows an estimated delivery date (in my city, btw) of Friday the 14th. If that is true, F that! If it is not delivered today I am calling Amazon and cancelling. I don't pay $80 a year to get things delivered days late.

Smartpost sucks...that means the mailman has your package not fedex and tracking doesn't work the same. Not only that but I've had stuff shipped smartpost and it would have arrived from fedex one day but I got it two days late because they wouldn't leave it when nobody was home but the post office closes at 5PM here and well when I got there the first day they told me I would have to wait a day because the carrier isn't back. Had it been normal fedex I could do a hold at the location over the phone and go get it when the truck gets back that evening.

The entire point of ordering with prime is release day delivery, not wait a week because Amazon shipped it via garbage whatever.

I just started playing the game and it seems a lot easier than the last one. I didn't die till an hour into the game and I beat the first boss on the first try.

It definitely seems easier. Enemy patterns are more forgiving. Though the second boss is pretty tough.

A major change is that if you kill an enemy enough times, it stops respawning forever.

-It makes it easier to walk through an area that you've played a number of times.
-It makes it harder to grind for souls.
-There are a finite number of souls you can get in the game, which means if you kill all the enemies in your area, you could be stuck at your current level forever.

I didn't know it did before. Guess I learned something else.

Sounds like some good changes...you can keep enemies from respawning would be welcome to me. Especially in areas you trek through multiple times and it's all fodder after a while.

Didn't get to play a whole lot, but I started off as a deprived and was having a lot of fun with it. Having played Demon's Souls and Dark Souls the initial enemies were a bit easy to get by (except the archers that came with other guys when I didn't have any form of defense) but the troll cyclops things were tough. I've gotten a lot of ratings on my messages, which is nice.

It did have that, but it looks like it is updated to the 13th now... Amazon didn't give me release day delivery for some stupid reason.

I just killed a boss and got 9 levels worth of souls.

Lol. Perhaps you just haven't been leveling up enough? I finally got mine today and since I stayed home from work due to illness, I am going to be Dark Soulsin' it up. Installing on my PS3 now.

Which boss? I've found that it's way harder to grind for souls in this game. I think every boss has given me about 10k souls or thereabout. I've only killed 4 or 5 bosses and I'm level 57.

that guy that is brought in on the Bird in the Giants area go away and never show up again if he kills you?

I restarted like 5 times before I figured out who the entire game felt super clunky.

Your adaptability stat is basically your response time IMO. I started as an explorer with 12 and you are so much more responsive in parries and even your move speed. I thought dex was supposed to increase that? In any case, I am doing a STR build now instead with him.
