ive got a dual monitor setup

the secondary monitor is pretty old, its on a tnt2 pci, and it has a really dark picture compared to the primary monitor/vid card. the brightness on the monitor is set to highest. im wondering if theres anyway i can make the vid card send a brighter picture

Hey Zippy.

You should be able to go into the advanced properties of the vid card and play with the brightness and contrast in order to set it to your liking.

on a strange related note... the two cards i am using are a geforce2 mx400 for my main monitor, and a tnt2 pci for the second monitor. i was using the default windows drivers for these devices as i had just installed windows, and i couldnt find anything in advanced display properties dealing with brightnes

i installed the nvidia drivers from website and it gave me 3 new tabs in advanced display properties for the tnt2 ONLY. it seems like the drivers (or at least the panel software) wasnt installed for the geforce2 mx400. any ideas? i tried installing the driver package twice, no dice
