Why are we judging based on sex appeal? Nolan's Batman mythology is clearly on the darker side of things. Who said catwoman is going to have sex appeal? Nolan's catwoman character could be some anorexic kleptomaniac for all we know.

I think a pretty person should be preferred over a meh one, color has nothing to do with it. If they had picked Beyonce to play Catwoman I'd be saying the exact same shit because Beyonce isn't fit for the role. I saw Anne at the whatever awards last weekend, she looks like she's pushing 40, and that's caked up with makeup. She's easily the most overrated chick in Hollywood, and that's saying a lot. She should be staring in the female version of Superbad as a nerdy chick, not a fucking Batman movie.
