I second that motion. Maybe if they just skipped the half-assed attempt at a plot and turned it into softcore porn, I'd think it was alright 🙂
 
i watched it... handful of ok/decent episodes... then they got really werid in 2nd season

but jessica alba was just hot!!
 
If they made a movie that was anything like the 2nd season, I would personally shoot the people that gave it the green light. The 2nd season was one of the worst POS's I've ever watched. The first season was pretty good though.
 
no there will never be a DA movie. At least not with JA in it - she went public stating she will never play Max again... a career-moving-on thing. She'll have 3 movies premiering in 2oo5.

BTW, I finally got the DA season 1&2 dvds (since they were dirt cheap on DDD). This show (especially in season 1) was severely underrated. I mean, I think the 1.5mil spent per episode tells you about how much they poured into the show... the sets were extensive. The lines were witty and the characters pretty well developed. James Cameron had a good thing. It's just too bad the story went sideways in season 2. That really sucked for the DA fanbase.

from what I saw, even the hi-res pics were grainy... they were large in size but that was it.
 
what the hell were they thinking in season 2 of dark angel?

they had a decent premise and potential in season 1. the dark scenes and introspective narratives by JA were what made the show. then they had to go all sci-fi in season 2. they had a forumla in season 1 that should have lasted a few more years.

anyone know how the ratings went during the first two seasons? i mean, did the ratings drop a lot in season 1, leading to the weird direction in season 2?

btw, how much did you get them for? DDD is showing them for ~$30 per season. just wondering if they can be had at a better price.

Expensive sets won't save a show from bad writing and worse acting. Better?
