Dare I try this?

Should I try and see how it runs, or should I just forget it?

Ram is 640 because 128 is dedicated to graphics (that's the max amount allowed)

is this the same? because it looks like it played UT alright. and UT and CS:S are generally pretty close so its worth a try.

Thanks. Yup thats the integrated graphic chip. Not the mobo, but that is the chip. Hmmm, I think I'll try it with everything on low, and at 640x480. I'll report back in about 4 hours (knowing how long it takes to do all those downloads that steam likes...)

EDIT: Well I tried it, and lol there wasn't enough disk space (my sister's laptop). We're going on vacation soon and I wanted to bring it with me, oh well... (I don't have a laptop at the moment, my last one died)

please

this time 1 year ago, I was owning people in COunter strike:source with

Radeon 7500 Mobility 64
512MB Ram
P4 2.66Ghz

Do IT!

Okay...In Video/Advanced you should be able to select DX 7. If you don't get that option, set a launch command "-dxlevel 70" (info on how to do that in the tweak guide I linked before).

One thing though...a lot of CS:S servers used to kick you for using that setting because you could see through some walls and boxes. I'm not up to date on that, they may have created a patch.
