Dangit UPS - Where the eff is my package??!! **Updated with photo evidence!!**

I looked up the tracking number and it says 'Delivered' and the location was the 'Front Porch'

Yet it is clearly not there! First its Fedex leaving my new Christmas Tree soaking in the rain for 4 hours, now this! WTH holiday season? WTH?

So, did someone steal it or did UPS just never deliver it?

Now I have to spend time calling around to see what happens next....

Sounds to me like somebody swiped it

🙁 Yeah - probably. Even so it was a pretty large package. two feet tall about 1.5 wide and weighed 80ish lbs. Takes some big brass ones to steal a package like that.

My other thought is that they delivered it to the wrong address. I got a 2 gallon package of olive oil from greece delivered to my door that was supposed to go to the house about 25 houses down...

I worry about that all the time. The idiots who named the roads/addresses in our subdivision assigned identical addresses except for the E, W, N, S designations. So my house is a 6259 ABC Drive East, while there is another house with the address of 6259 ABC Drive West in the exact subdivision. We always get mail intended for the other address and one day, I got fed up and wrote a snippy letter to the postman and stuck it in the mail box. It improved after that. 😀

make a sign that reads "IF YOU ARE FEDEX, UPS, POSTAL SERVICE, DO NOT LEAVE PACKAGES AT THIS ADDRESS"
Put it up when you are away. Make the print large so it can be read from several feet away.

Works for me.

Just got off the phone with UPS and they insist they dropped it off at the correct house. Something about the driver remembering the box and he was able to describe the house he dropped it off at

So much for the hope that it made it to the wrong house....

Still - I almost wonder if someone at UPS didn't keep it (Kinda like the Netflix incidents...)

Sorry bro, got lost looking at some lolcats. Will be at your house in 15 mins.

I expect this kind of thing from Fedex but UPS, you dissapoint me 🙁

There have been people in the past that were caught following delivery drivers around a city. They wait till driver drops a package off, then when the driver leaves they steal the package.

UPS still doesn't believe me that the package isn't at my house. Well - I've got news for them - I took a picture of my front porch and it clearly shows that there is no package at my house! (please ignore the bad christmas light wiring. We have not had time to finish that yet).

Hmmm - the welcome mat is a little out of place. I'll bet the UPS guy ran up to my house after he 'delivered' my package and stole it back once he realized how cool it was or the theiving theifs who stole it messed with its location just to fuck with me some more
😡😡😡

I don't understand that picture. Are you making a joke by "hiding" the package under the welcome mat?

This happened to me. What they really meant by "Delivered - Location: Garage" was "Delivered - Location: Your neighbors garage".

This describes my FedEx Home Delivery guy perfectly. He's probably about ~19 with ear/tongue/mouth/face rings, etc. and a lot of times just randomly decide to not deliver on the day he's supposed to, reported to the system as 'customers not home' (although I was there the whole day and nobody left a tag so clearly he didn't even come) 😡

Happened to me with fedex. They dropped my PASSPORT in a package with SIGNATURE REQUIRED delivery bullshit assurance at the house next door. Needless to say there was no signature and the house next door isn't even on the same 4 digits (mine's 1010, his is 950). The best you're ever going to get out of them is "not our problem", take it up with the company and tell them the package never got to you.

More of the joke that they tried to hid it under the welcome mat. Because that very clearly hides that package so well that no one would ever know it was there...

our UPS man is great. at our old house in the same neighborhood, he would put it on the side porch behind teh privacy fence. Nice guy. name is Stu.

wait so they did successfully deliver the package? You're just ranting on how they used your welcome mat to cover your package?

Weak and annoying rant.

If you ever went to take a leak, they'll probably claim they came during that exact moment.

Or that they knocked and no one answered... He said, she said. Why I refuse to sign the waiver on the back of the "We missed you" card Purolator or Fed Ex has.

So far, UPS has dumped my $800 leather jacket at my front door after ringing once, and whoever the hell Best Buy uses left my $500 TV there for a few hours.
