Dangit, need TWO new 24" monitors.

I got two Soyo 24" Topaz S monitors about a year and a half ago for $300 each, and now both are starting to crap out on me.

Monitor #1 has a light blue vertical line a pixel wide going from top to bottom in the middle of the screen. Monitor #2 is showing signs of backlight fading - whites aren't as white, colors not as accurate, etc. PLUS the plastic of the screen is all scraped due to transit across the country in my car. Somehow a can of potatoes got between the screen and the backseat and just wore away at the screen.

So now I'm looking for some replacements. Color accuracy and 1920x1200 are a must. A good, reputable, quality manufacturer is also highly sought. Can I find this for around $200 each nowadays? I've seen cheaper Acer/Asus/etc monitors, but will these last? My Soyos definitely aren't...

Check ebay for those Soyos (saw one guy selling 10 new ones a week ago for ~$200). Make sure it's 6ms (few 6ms marked boxes still lingered for manufacturing dates after 3/'08, when they started using TN so make sure it's before 3/'08).
I assume by color accuracy, you mean not TN, which would limit you to the Soyo, SVA and Westinghouse.
SVA 2400w (not 2400w-b) seemed to have changed to TN so kind of a gamble. People dislike Westinghouse for crappy warranty/cs and failure rates. But their l2410nm was a great monitor (with hdmi instead of dvi so you need an adapter) with all the video connections.

My Soyo Topaz is still going strong - it might be hard to find a 24" LCD at the same price with the same color accuracy as the Soyo. The BenQ G2400WD is generally considered an excellent monitor for the price:

The cheapest non-TN panel you can get (besides the Soyo) is this one, I think:

which is a S-MVA panel. The next step up is the Dell ultrasharp around $500.

As I was saying, check ebay and you should find the Westinghouse for for <$300 buy it now. Use live.com (currently 14% cashback, i'm waiting for it to get back up to >=20% before I buy a few things) and you should get it for ~$250 if not less after cashback.

You could always go for a 27.5", there is one on Newegg with a bunch of positive reviews.

Man, it's so difficult finding a good monitor at a decent price. I myself have a 20in Viewsonic vx2025wm and want to upgrade something larger, but I sure as hell don't want to downgrade to a TN Panel.
