Where did you get the kitten from? Breeder, pet store, news paper ad? Any links to good breeders or where to find good breeders? How much did you pay for the kitten? Whats the temperment of the F1 cat like?

What kind of temperment to they have?
Do do they make decent indoor cats or are they an outdoor kind of cat?
How much living space should one have for them, and how do they react to other cats?
How do they handle being alone during the day?
How loud are ther voices when they decide to use them?
What are the main differences between them and you common house cat?
How well do they react to other cats and dogs?

Still waiting on some answers, glen. :p

Say what?

I've got a 5 year-old neutered Siamese male seal-point and he weighs 9.1 pounds. And that's the heaviest he's ever been.

Best cat I've ever owned. He's affectionate and SMART. He's a trickster. He manages to trick my parents into feeding him several times a day :p

I'd say this is the reason for your fat cat, not because of his breed.

You think a lion or cheetah would know if is indirectly related to a cat if it saw one?

Or would the lion/cheetah just eat it?

Hmm... Glen's google must be broken or really slow...

Shouldn't need google to answer questions about his experience with the feline and where he bought the feline from. :p

There aren't cheap though, that cattery is charging between 400 and 650, with a 100 deposit. So far, most of the cattery sites I've visited have waiting lists, which may or may not have fees to get on the waiting list.

Beautiful animals though. I think I found a good use for my tax return. :)

oooh.. I might want one too. :)

The F1 was $1,000 temperment is not that good. It is liek a wild animal, so it is very fearful of people.

bengals are fantastic.

I got mine from A-Kerrs For about $500 each.
She and Jean Mill, and Googeees are probably the most well know breeders.
Jean Mill basically founded the breed.
Googees wrote the book, and Libby Kerr has nice cats.

They are very smart, and I trained mine to use a toilet instead of a sand box.

They will bring live birds and squirles in the house if you have a cat door.
They WILL kill things in the neighborhood, but I secretly think it is funny.

This f1 is $2,000, but you can find them for less.
But, that looks like the one I had.
Bengals are nto that pretty, and look a lot like a normal cat, but they are frendly.
My F1 would not let anyone hold him besides me.

Warning to all, I had one of those for about 2 weeks and that was all I could take!

I think it was a 2nd generation Bengal and later I found out that you want at least a 4th generation so that it breads all the "wild" out of them.

That thing was f'ing nuts! It had claws sharp enough to slice through skin like butter!

It was so psycho, one second it would be rubbing up against you purring and within a split second it would be trying to rip my neck off!

I had to get rid of it and unfortunately had to eat the cost of it also, I ended up giving it to some guy that has a special license to raise wild cats, he even had a tiger.

But never again would I buy some crazy ass animal like that again, it tore through any wire in my room it could find, shredded my bed, pissed and sh!t on my mattress 3 times! (That last time was the final straw!).

So just be aware of the risk is all, if you have a large house with an area that you can have a large kennel to store it in then it would work out better, and you would want to get that thing declawed on all fours as soon as you got it also.
