Agreed on the zipper, although the sword would look better out more, IMO.

Actually, I loved volume 1. Yes, I know the plot was weak and the dialogue wasn't nearly as catchy as Pulp Fiction. But for some reason I absolutely loved it. The music, lighting, etc. It just had amazing atmosphere. It is more a piece of art than a movie. And as such, some people will hate it and some people will love it.

I don't agree with the fanboy opinion that if you don't like it, you must not be smart enough to understand it. It's not a matter of getting it. It's just a matter of your taste. Everyone will see it differently so everyone will have a different opinion.

My opinion is that Tarantino achieved exactly what he wanted to achieve and did it superbly. If you don't enjoy what he achieved, there is nothing wrong with that. But don't call it sh!t just because it doesn't match your idea of what you wanted to watch.

How come Uma Thurman was so cute in Pulp Fiction, and not so cute in this movie? Maybe they showed her that way because cute != ruthless killer and vengeful.

I bet the final fight in part 2, Uma will be wearing her wedding dress. KICK ASS.

No, it is an overrated movie. They basically took one good long movie and chopped it in half so they could make 2x the profits. Here it is in simple form:

1. make good long movie
2. chop in half and sell as 2 movies
