At one point this morning, it was up 7.5%. Now it's up ONLY 5%. Screw Michael Eisner! Long live Jobs and Lasseter!

That's because other studios will be climbing over each other to sign a deal with Pixar. They've been batting 1.000 since Toy Story first came out. They're the only sure thing in Hollywood right now.

I believe Eisner is dragging down Disney and Pixar suffered as a result of their relationship. I'm glad Pixar finally broke free and are their own now. Go Pixar!

It was also the last really profitable movie out of the Orlando animation studio. That studio last's movie was Brother Bear which didn't do all that well.

Now they only have the California animation studio left. Eisner has so screwed Disney over.

Tarzan, Mulan, and Lilo and Stitch all were big money-makers in theatrical release (to say nothing of DVD and rentals, which is where most of the money is made nowadays anyway).

Whether or not you enjoyed them or not is something else entirely.

Who knows, maybe now we'll see R-rated Pixar movies?? I for one wouldn't mind seeing Pixar versions of some of the last decade's best graphic novels.

IMHO, Disney should sell off Miramax, because they're holding THEM back too. Too many creative differences.

I'll second that. That animations had to be one of the most realistic I have ever seen.

"Final Flight of the Osirius" was done by Square. Who cares if Final Fantasy didn't do well at the theater. They could probably sell a ton of DVD's if they did more films.
