IIRC, all US cars built since 1967 had seat belts. With a 500 cu inch engine there is very little need for a manual transmission.

The only functional problem I can see with the car is that it may need leaded fuel. You would need to replace the heads for it to be happy running non-leaded gasoline.

 
I would never drive that boat.

I'm keeping my eye out for a nice 280ZX turbo. 🙂
 
If I would ever feel the need to get such a monstrocity, I would settle for nothing less than a late 60s Lincoln Continental...



The suicide doors on that puppy would have more character than that of the entire car that you posted.
