Dang newegg is slacking, Order at 3:30 thier time on Monday, still hasn't shipped?

I'm just kidding, I assume it will ship today which isn't too bad. But this is the first time I have ever seen them take more then a day to ship. I fully expected it to ship on monday, but wasn't totally surprised when it didn't since I didn't give thme much time. But I just can't believe it didn't ship yesterday. It dang well better get out today. I really want this stuff by the weekend.
 
I ordered some parts last Tuesday in the AM...didn't ship until Friday, but they upgraded my shipping my Overnight...still didn't matter cause I didn't get it til Monday 🙁
 
They charged my card, and yesterday it said my order was ready to be shipped and that the tracking info would be shown at 6 o clock thier time. It didn't post all day, got on today and now it says it will post at 6 o clock today.
 
Mine better get here by this weekend, if not I will be upset. This is the last few parts I am waiting on for my dual Xeon rig, and if I can't put it together this weekend, it may have to wait till next weekend and that would suck.

Like I said I was just kidding. I have just never seen them take more thne 1 full day to ship thier packages. Like I also said, I have ordered before at around 3 oclock thier time and have had the packages ship that same day, and if not always the next day, this just suprised me. I will be upset if it doesn't get here by the weekend, but I will still shop with them again.

They have warehouse in other places then just CA right? For the life of me I can't remember for sure where my packages ship from when I buy there. I am thinking they come out of NJ, if so it should still make it to OH no problem, but if I am for whatever reason thinking of someplace else and the package has to come from CA then I doubt it will make it unless it got shipped already and the number just hasn't posted yet.
 
ordered some memory a few weeks ago, got it out a day later than i had hoped, and was supposed to arrive on monday, but fedex came through for me and i got it friday 🙂
 
the only thing i would guess is that since its a new year so a lot of peoples busniesses might be stocking up on new materials causing an influx of orders...
 
Well my tracking is now up. The stuff did actually ship yesterday though.

Order a biostar SFF and some memory. Interestingly enough one package is coming from CA the other from NJ, wonder which is which?


Quick question about fed ex, the first package said it arrive at the fedex ramp in Columbus(I live in columbus, so this is its destination)think I will be able to pick it up myself today. Or do they have to attempt delivery once before you can pick it up? Think I will give them a call.
 
Well I got both the packages today. A day earlier then fedex said, so thats cool. Oddly enough they both arrived in ohio, with one coming from CA and the other from NJ, at the same time, both with express saver shipping. Saddly I was not very happy with the packaging of one of the packages. I got memory and a biostar SFF. The memory was wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in a small box with the invoice. Not too bad. The biostar on the other hand was packaged in its original box obviously, which was then placed in another box that measured approximately 1 inch bigger in all directions then the original box. They then used approximately 50-75 packing peanuts, no where near enough to surround the package on all sides. heck not even one side was fully covered. I can't complain too much as there appears to be no damage or anything, will know for sure later when I get it running. One other thing is that thier is no invoice in the box with the biostar, not sure whats up with that.

I will definately use newegg again, but if more of the same happens, they may lose me as a customer. But I am hoping this was all just a fluke.
 
I placed an order sunday night, got it on Wed 🙂

PS. Pay the extra 3 bucks for rush shipment. I always do and have never had it take more than three days to receive my order.
