dang kids and their pranks

Tonight a friend and I were driving down a country road just going about 65mph. And before we knew it, there were two trash cans on both sides of the road, tied together with a string. We nailed the trap head on while taking the cans with us for a few feet. So we got out and checked the car and we heard some kids giggling from some distance. Too bad I did not think of it at the time, but I thought about slamming that string in the trunk and dragging/stealing their trash cans.

has anyone else ever done this / heard of this being done?

yeah, sorry. atot said I couldn't post more than 1 time in 15 seconds, and I had waited a few minutes and submitted the thread three times. I received the error everytime. I went to read another article, came back and refreshed and there they were.

Stealing the trash cans really isn't a good idea, chances are that the kids don't own those trash cans. Not a cool idea.
