edit: He looked old in the first pre-season game. No mobility at all.

Like I said above though, he looked slow in the first pre-season game. No mobility. Even moreso than last year.
 
16 years in the NFL will make anyone into an old, old man. He's going to be in pain for the rest of his life (and is probably hurting with each step as we speak), I can definitely see him having a problem with morphines in the future..sad as it is to say.

Some football players/athletes find it hard to give up the sport that they know and love even when they start getting too old. Nothing new.
 
He has had a lot to deal with in the last 5 years. Dad died. Wife got cancer. Brother-in-law killed on ATV on his property. Mom's house destroyed by Katrina.

His best days are unfortunately so far behind him. He probably couldn't lead a homing pidgeon home, muchless the packs to the playoffs.
