Nah, we have 4 legit seasons. Fall is gorgeous, actually, and lasts just as long as it should. If you ask me, though... Spring takes for-goddamn-ever to turn into summer. We finally break out of the eternal single-digit days and then get stuck in the 40s-and-rainy mode for another eternity.

But summer, ahh summer. It's all worth it, come June. 🙂

I've spent a fair amount of time in Chicago, lived in Cleveland (I list that just because their winters are equally horrible), been to LA a few times and I've "lived" in San Diego for about 2 months recently. LA is too damn and too congested. Chicago has a lot of excellent qualities, but winters are brutal. Cleveland has a lot of great qualities as well, but weather isn't one of them. San Diego weather is beautiful, and imo it has everything that Chicago has to offer and more.

I'd love to live in San Diego at some point, but I'd have to be on/near the coast.

Chicago & NYC have real city vibes to them. Maybe because of the density & big skyline... however I don't get that same vibe when I'm in west coast cities like LA or San Diego... its different, more sprawl.
