Good to hear you enjoyed it. Its a culturally rich place, and with a ton to do for all sorts of people and tastes. Over time you'll become aware of the negatives, like any big (muchless small) city, but so goes life. I was there a very long time, and if I miss anything about chicago right now, its the tremendous pool of great places to eat.

I've been there a couple times but it was when I was younger or staying outside of the city... haven't really got to experience Chicago that much though. My friend moved there from Philly because she got a teaching job and she said she absolutely loves it.

The people are very down-to-earth and nice where I live too (U.P. of Mich)... Midwest ftw!

I like Chicago a lot. Any time work sends me for training, I always make sure to schedule it there. The cost of living is rather crazy, though.

I was thinking the same......."windy city" during winter...........brutal.

I was there last month and I noticed that in a span of 10 minutes I probably saw about 5 Mercedes SUV GL450 drove by on the same street. I was like "damn, too many rich people in Chicago."

There are only 2 reasons why people stay/live in LA: 1) weather, 2) hot girls

I donno man. LA has been baking under the sun this past week.

I'm currently in my office, w/ the ocean breeze going through the windows. It's a mild 78 right now.

Chicago only has two seasons, summer and winter. Spring and fall combined last all of a week and a half. One day it's warm and sunny and the next it's brutally cold and snowing.

We've hired quite a few people because we bring them out to interview in the summer months. The weather's awesome and they fall in love. They just don't know what they're really getting themselves in to.

I like Chicago, but my most favorite place is Door County, Wisconsin. Not only is the area where my grandparents live one of the most beautiful places in the world, but the people there are nicer than anywhere I've ever been. Everybody is nice to everybody there, not "fake nice" where they secretly want to stab you in the back, but true honest to goodness polite people.
