Dance Classes for Spanish Dancing

I'm looking to start taking some dance classes; merengue, salsa, tango, rumba, bachata. Any suggestions? Should I just go to a local studio or try to find a private instructor? Or just go to spanish clubs and wing it?
 
I learned to salsa and merengue at the clubs. I did take lessons later on, but I did end up learning more at the clubs. People there just seem a lot more laid back about it too.
