What happened to Dan? Last Monday he announces that he's gonna split after his contract is up, and on Tuesday he makes a couple jokes and follows them up with things like "I'll be back unless my bosses come in during the break". Since last Tuesday he hasn't been on the air.

I hasd thought about that, but when going on air the announcer air-ins no longer seem to say "the dan patrick show" nor do the fill in host mention his name or abscence.
 
Doesn't explain his current absence, but probably true. I know he was miffed when the guys from dream jobs were getting starting salaries almost as much as long time staffers.

Not that there may be some conspiracy or anything...I haven't been listening to the replacements but I have loaded a few of the clips from the webpage and noticed that they've changed the email addy for listeners to send in email during the broadcast. (no longer danpatrickshow@)
 
SVP was on today. He's ok. The worst one out of all of them is Amy Lawrence. I can't stand her.
 
Stephen A is running the show today and said he'd be doing it all week. That means since the announcement Dan has done 1 show in 4 weeks.
Will he be back in time for the rapidly approaching final week, or did Boomer send him to meet the fishes?

oh he's gone. When they change the email to the show you know hes gone. whether it was built up vacation (doubt it) or more likely they just told him to get the hell out already, he's done at ESPN. And I would say good riddance but the only person I can't stand more than DP is Steven A Smith.

I like Dan. He's infinitely better than the parade of hosts that have been holding down his slot for the last few weeks.
 
I think he thought he had the Price is Right gig sewn up so he cashed in his chips and took off. Well, he ended up getting beaten out by Drew Carey and now he has the spare time to guest host. What he'll do from here......?

Oh God it's so sad but you are right.

If I have to hear Stephen A complain about white people one more time I am going to personally hunt him down and kick his ass. And that chick was horrid. I don't mind eric casilaiesaihfalsdf or whatever the hell his name is though.

Is it really that hard to find someone who isn't a complete moron to host a radio show? They do it here in Dallas (I like all the local hosts even though some of them are idiots at least they entertain me).
