Did you listen today or yesterday? He knows the rule in basketball is that you can't come off the bench, yet he says Stern should change the rule. Not at the end of the season, but he should completely ignore the rule right now and shouldn't have suspended Diaw or Amare.

When someone asked Dan if he would be making the same fuss if it was the last 2 players on the bench Dan started blabbering about a premiere series and premiere players.

Dan is an idiot because he thinks Stern is wrong for giving 2 premiere players suspensions that literally hundreds of other players have gotten over the years.

I like the interview with Stern where Dan said something to the effect of:
"Do you want this series to be decided by this?"
Stern replied that what changed the series is that Diaw and Amare either forgot or ignored the rule, if you can find the clip it's really good.

Dan pretty much got owned, I loved it. I don't know why Dan is apparantly sportscaster royalty because I have never seen or heard him do anything worthwhile. Granted, he gets the best people to interview and I love him with Reggie, but I attribute that again to him (for some unknown reason) being sportscaster royalty. Did he used to be really good at something? He just always sounds like a pompass ass to me.

Oh and to some posters above, yes Stuart Scott is an idiot as well.
