DAMNIT! SOME F*CKERS STOLE MY HEADLIGHTS!

Well today I got up and went outside to my 2000 Audi A6 and found out some idiot tried to steal my headlights. This is, in fact, not even the first time it's happened. Last month someone ripped out the left headlight (after finding out it was non HID just left it on the sidewalk) and we still hadn't even gotten it fixed. Apparently seeing a dangling headlight didn't mean sh*t to this thief and he tried to steal the other headlight. Now I am left with two broken smashed headlights! When I get this fixed is it possible to get the lights bolted in or is there any solution to this problem at all? Has anyone else encountered this problem? I really don't want this happening again (the headlights alone cost about 500 bucks to replace)...Thanks

Hence the reason they're trying to steal them. Sorry, don't have a solution for ya, just thought I'd point out the obvious. The theives can probably get $100 for 'em at a chop shop.

Heh....someone stole the taillights out of my old roommate's 2001 Ford Ranger a couple years back while he was in NY. We kind of thought it was an isolated incident. I mean, of all the things to steal...

awww man im in the exact same boat. 1999 A6... idiots didnt even get the headlight out. just bent up the bumper in their attempt. theres no way to stop them from trying. if you bolt it in, you'll end up with broken up body work like me.

now we just watch where we park...
