I agree. Resumes are a waste of time. During the interview they ask you the same set of questions anyways. Why not have a standard questionnaire:
Name/ address/ education/ skills/ work experience, etc
If all the interviewer does is tally your answers with your resume, a questionnaire is good enough!
Resume is a way of presenting your qualifications for screening. Then the company can decide if you are worth peoples time to talk to you.
After 5 or so years experience, you will find that this happens alot.

Wait until you sit in the other seat. Allows the qualified person to prepare questions to actually determine if you have the right stuff.
