I don't think they ever have (as a standard set anyway, I have seen some that do come with them but are special deals).

Not with parallel cables
Not with usb cables

As mwtgg said, buy one really good one and keep it forever, if you give your printer away, don't give the usb cable. 🙂

epson multifunctions used to come with the usb cable (5200, and 5400 models which were produced last year).

I dont work at staples anymore,so I dont know if the current models come with them or not.

Very few printers come with cables.

The Epson AIOs still do come with cables (though they are cheapy 6' ones).

I work at Best Buy and I can tell ya that the newer models (Epson 4600 6600) don't come with printer cables.

In fact, recently there was an item in our departement news about none of our printers coming with USB cables anymore, and how it was a great opportunity to peg customers for extra revenue and margin dollars.

Corporate greed FTW! :-/

Up until about two weeks ago, the Epson rx500's and rx600's came with cables. But now Epson isn't packaging them with cables anymore.

Im with you on that. Most people dont care when I tell them they need a cable, but others get all pissed off. Most retail stores jack the prices of those cables out the roof. We are talking 25 bucks for a cable that costs them 2 bucks lol.
