<< Actually, Odigo was prettier :p >>

iamme, I am checking out Odigo now... I think it's pretty too! The GUI is very ICQ-like. AND AIM works on it, w00t!! Thanks for the tip. :)

That sounds like it would be the reason. Or you could just get AIM+ which is the same as the AIM Client but without ads.;)

I agree with some of you, it is AOL's network, and they don't have to let other people on it. They make money off the ads, and if everyone uses trillian, it defeats the purpose of having a free messaging system.

<< maybe aol should learn from Trillian and make AIM a good program ;) >>

Maybe Trillian should learn from AOL and buy, maintain and pay for their own network to run on instead of leeching off of others.

OOPS.. didn't see this thread and I started a new one...

Anyways..got a couple questions about Trillion:

Ok, I'm tryin this Trillian because basically ICQ software sucks now...

It takes forever to add a contact in ICQ
Trillian adds ICQ contacts instantly...nice

I see that AIM can be used with Trillian
However, the connection manger has AIM and ICQ in the same field.

Can you only use one ?

Also, I heard that AIM routinely blocks Trillian access.
Does this affect ICQ through Trillian as well?

Use Odigo. It's like trillian and does AIM and ICQ, as well as others. See the post somewhere above here for a link.
