I'm sitting in my cubicle, and the guy next to me is driving me insane. He is an older guy that apparently never learned to type (uses both index fingers). Whenever he uses his computer, it sounds like he is pounding the keys as hard as possible. It's driving me nuts. oh I wish I had my own office....


Anyone else have this problem? What do you do to drown out the noise?
 
Does he have one of the tactile response keyboards (think oldschool IBM clicky keys)?

 
no my problem is the old guy in the office next to me clipping his fingernails every freaking monday for nearly the 2 years ive been here.
i guess his weekends are jammed packed and he cannot spare any time to clip his damn fingernails at home on his own time.
its such an annoying sound, especially on a monday.
