The key is to apply psychology to politics, and make it easy for anyone who wants to work here to be able to do so but pay us for that right and not associate that with citizenship.

I think all they have to do is pay taxes at the same rate as everyone else. Who cares if they are citizens or not? If you are going to come to this country, I have only 2 'demands'.

1. Learn english, or at least make the effort. You don't have to speak it all the time, I don't really care what you do at home or whatnot, but everyone should be able to comunicate with you. I don't care if you speak mandrin, deutch, or spanish, learn english too.

2. Pay taxes. If you are going to use the US's services such as roads, healthcare, and such, then pay for it.

ditto.

What I say is that a lot of these people want to work. make it easier to work here legally but tax them heavily...fines whatever...

Nope...I say deport them!

Take away the welfare/healthcare/education benefits and properly punish businesses that hire them. Let law enforcement demand proof of citizenship during routine traffic stops and other instances where the police KNOWING who they are dealing with is critical. Make employers actually check for status and require better documentation from everyone wanting a job. The problem cures itself.....they will RUN home.

that's what you think.

their children who were born here are american citizens now. if they are forced back, most likely they are going to leave their children here for a better life.

and dont forget how the economy is gonna be affected with 10 million people not working.

they should do it like most asian people do it.. fake marriages!

Don't forget how the economy is going to be affected when we no longer have to pay for their health insurance, hospital visits, welfare programs, and the myriad other number of programs that are abused to a greater extent as a result of illegals.

btw, the commute on route 28 in VA was surprising smooth today...almsot no traffic 😀

made todays business that much more pain-free...

usually route 28 is a fvkign hell hole.

watch as your produce arent there anymore because people are looking for cheap labor to pick them. or should we go back to slavery cause that would save much more money huh?

I still don't understand what they are protesting. Do they not understand what Illegal means?

I saw some people in the protests holding american flags upside down with a mexican flag on top... yeah thats gonna get america on your side.

That is an illusion. Most of these people are on the extreme low end of wage earners which means even if they pay all applicable taxes they consume social services at a much higher rate than they pay in. Keep it up and we will be a 3rd world country. Social programs in this country are already stretched to the limit and illegals are going to burst the dam if we continue to let them. Immigration is fine but the more workers at the bottom of the wage teir you let in the more the system breaks. Pure economics.

Actually the main orchestator (sp?) of the first march a while back wanted everyone not to wave Mexican flags but American flags to get the people on their side and not to push away all of the other races of immigrants. Thats why today you saw much more red white and blue than green white and red

Yes, because not wanting illegal immigrants and the people who hire them = supporting slavery, right?

It will force this economy to correct itself. Some people aren't willing to make that sacrifice. Others are.

Prices would adjust quite fine and since wages of true citizens would rise the increase would be in line. Plus, labor to pick fruit and vegetables is not the highest cost input in getting them to market so the affect is not as great as the pro-illegals want you to believe.

The medical, legal, service and textile industies need overhauls while we are at it. Malpractive insurace is something like 50% of the cost of any procedure, the legal system will let you sue for things that are your own damn fault (you shouldn't be able to litigate stupid) all our service jobs are going overseas (along with the money money) and almost all the stuff we buy on a daily basis is made in another country where labor is < $1 an hour. Illegal immagrants are the least of the US's worries, and shouldn't even be on the radar.

There are a ton of things that need fixing, but kicking out illegal immagrants is not the way to go. They are using the services now and not paying for it, so at least they will be paying for something instead of 'freeloading'.

Sorry, I try to stay out of P&N for a reason. But at least we are being civil unlike most posts over there 😛

America is the only country on earth (besides France... but they would have just surrendered) that would put up with this crap.

I'd like to live in the Bahamas. Or Bermuda. Housing is reasonable. Employment wouldn't be a problem for me. The climate agrees with me.

But I can't because they have these immigration laws that they actually ENFORCE! Bastards!

You should just go there, any way possible, then protest for your RIGHTS (as an illegal, no less) in the middle of their cities while holding their flag upside down. After all, you DESERVE to skip the immigration process because you're alive.
