I think a Wendy's Junior bacon cheesburger might have more meat.

For turkey and roast beef it's 3 slices per 6"
Ham is 4 slices per 6"
Hot meats are a few ounces per 6" I think
Bacon is 4 slices per 6"

Nutrition information FTW!

Reason that subway is the only fast food I ever grab, because I can stand there and make a decision about how fat am I am going to make myself during lunch.

Anyone else feel like all the subway sandwichs (no matter the bread, contents, sauce) all have that same aftertase of pre-processed lameness?

LOL, maybe they all a hint of a similar flavor because they're on the same basic bread???

I used to work at subway, and it pisses me off when they make them wrong. They put the meat on ass backwards, they pile everything on. I am all about getting my monies worth, but I dont want a mountain of garbage that tastes like garbage.

They charge $2 extra (Total was like $7 something). I usually just get an 8" at my local shop for $5.25.

so then go to the local place and quit bitching?

Footlong roast beef should have 6 slices of roast beef (as mentioned before). Double meat on a Footlong will cost you $2 extra ($1 extra on a 6-inch).

Total: ~7 for 12" Double meat.

Your Local Shop:
8": $5.25
Pro-rate to 12": 1.5 x 5.25 = ~7.87

I am sure that Double-Meat on the Subway sandwich will have more meat than your local-shop. Also, I dont think that your local-shop will have all the varieties for the veggies. YMMV though as each local shop is different.

I like Subway.

Not to mention I worked there for a year and probably took more than $1000 worth of food in that time  And they still hook me up :D

i only get the meatball marinara when i go to subway. it's the only one with significant meat because they usually give you 8 meatballs on a 12". it's also the cheapest of the sandwiches so it has the highest meat to $ ratio.
