Tryin to waste my money....my car is out of commission, so I have to take public transportation to get to work. I typed in the addresses into the "Plan My Trip" section of Septa's website, they told me to take the regional rail, and then a bus. Total fare was $6.30. So $12.60 round trip. I was looking at the bus route, and I noticed if you stayed on it past the train station, it goes to the Frankford Terminal, which happens to be the end of the MFL subway line. The MFL subway has a stop a half block from my dorm, costs $1.30, and I can transfer to the bus for $.60. So $1.90 per trip, $3.80 both ways. Trip is 2 minutes shorter too, 1:25 instead of 1:27. They couldn't tell me that though...wanted me to spend an extra $10. Damn you septa, damn you....
