<< We have a few Video Only's here, I like how you can reasonably bargain them down. Trust me Russ I know the temptation, for weeks I've fought the urge not to buy a 32" WEGA. Fortunately (or unfortunately) tax season is here and I owe Uncle Sam big. >>

Don't you mean the urge to buy?

<< /me goes back to my puny 21" monitor >>

Hey, you've got me by two inches there.

You know another thing I like about this new set? No more adapter boxes for the DVD and VHS players that were necessary on my old set (no a/v). No more needing to get off my ass to flip the switch between the two.:)

Does it have PIP with 2 tuners?

My 27" Toshiba has PIP (I remember paying $50 extra for this feature) yet I've never used it.

Welcome to 2002!

Nice TV, BTW. May I ask what you paid? (it must be the Ferengi in me) :D

<< (I won't let him get anything bigger than 27") >>

Funny thing is, that - or a 32" - was what I was planning on when I went shopping. But, this damned store had every conceivable TV and every size in the world on display and, after looking at the bigger ones, I just couldn't get the smaller one.

If any of you guys have a store called Video Only in your area, check them out. Not only is the TV selection amazing, the prices are good. This pup was $1399, about $200 less then everybody else.

N8Magic - Let's hope Russ has an Amex Blue so he can go make an easy $250, assuming he can find it for cheaper elsewhere.

No cc with cash back rewards? Could have earned an easy 1% but nothing talks louder than Benjamin's.

Yeah, for nine years of crappy 19" viewing.:)

RossMAN,

I don't use credit much for personal purchases. Use it a lot for the business, though.

I got pip on my 27" ProScan, used it about 4 times and have never used it again.

I always check goodguys for a price match, they have had free shipping going on for awhile and have had good prices.

Nice set Russ, I still have a 27 inch RCA TV from who knows when :D
I have had this thing for probably 6 years now. It still works great though.
I would love to have a 40+ inch set, but it will be awhile before I get the money for that, plus everything else I want/need. ;)

PIP is the best...
I use it almost every time I'm on TV....
probably because I can't do less than two things at once... it annoys me!
