so i'd stay away from the mx duo :)

If you don't install Logitech MouseWare, how do you use the umpteen buttons on the MX?

Just keep the default actions that Windows assigns to them. The only button you can't use is the application switcher, which I never touched anyway.

uh,

i have this labtec mouse. it's optical. it has 2 buttons and a scrollwheel and costed $20 cdn.
