I can't find a deal for one of these guys anywhere!

I don't mind getting a version 2 as opposed to the newest version 3 Ipod, but I want to try and snag one for under $200.

I'm not finding any deals.

Not everyone has that kind of money to throw around like that. I think the HD fourm is a perfect example of that.

All I'm saying is that it's worth it. And I would think you could get a used one in FS/FT for under 200 bucks, they have definitely been in there at that price.
 
I ordered one last week for $216.03.

Brand new, Gen 3, directly from Dell.

Too bad they sent me an e-mail yesterday saying it's no longer available, they couldn't substitute another item into the order (ie I had wasted my 15% coupon), & couldn't generate me another coupon.

I wasn't particularly happy with them, but figured I'd be nice about it since they haven't cancelled my double 15% + 5% Canon S400 order.

I got a 20 gig gen 2 for $300.

Pretty good price. I didn't get ripped off. I could have gotten a Zen for $50 or so less... or a NJB or something for even less... but I figured the ultra small size was worth it. I've been satisfied so far.

Nothing, but that's a pretty good reason for Windows user (without Firewire) to get a Generation 3. Just something to think about.

For me it wouldn't matter because I have a Mac, and because my XP box has Firewire already anyway.
