Totally not true. I'm 27 and work out and I wear Abercrombie/AE/AP/Express stuff. I wear medium most of the time and some large but I'm by no definition skinny (well maybe a little...I am around 190lbs)

Same here: 27; work out (some); 175; wear medium at AE, AF, Express, Gap. Sometimes the medium shirts aren't broad enough in the shoulders or long enough in the sleeves, but the larges are still way too big.
