Where did you land anyway?

Heathrow is a nightmare even if you land on time. You will probably have to wait on the tarmac for a gate....the damn airport is too busy.
 
I've been there several times, my sister lives in London. The plane will first departure in 5.30 hours, so I went home instead of waiting in the airport.

Well, it's not foggy right now, but it's winter.

It's getting dark at around 3:30pm here and fully dark by just after 4pm. Thats the kicker.

Yeah, but it shouldn't be as cold as here in Denmark. They booked the earlier passengers on the first flights so I was put on one in the evening.

Been there, done that. Agreed, it can be bastard cold in Denmark!
 
Icy this morning in the south west, roads weren't too bad though because it was dry.
I had no problems coming back at the end of October, except baggage took an age to come off the place.
The train was then short 3 carriages (out of 6), so it ended up being crowded 🙁
No fog here though 🙂 (Near the coast)
