any format can be cracked into when locked. its not really that hard. why not set it up online, send out a link instead of the pdf and have them complete it on your sitre? that way you can just dl the database and print it when you want? you may have to pay a developer to create the page for you, but it seems like it would be a far better situation than all this pdf business youre dealing with.

They already did this. It cost them 3k+ and it doesn't do what they want it to do.

This, at the time, seemed like a much simpler cost effective approach.

Yes anything can be cracked, but MOST OF THE POPULATION doesn't have that type of technical savvy or initiative.

if you paid 3k for a site that doesnt do whats intended, either they didnt fulfill their contract or your control description wasnt thorough enough.

I didn't pay shit. They dealt with (the company); I have no idea what their conversation was like.

MOST OF THE POPULATION isn't your customer either. Your argument is flawed.

Like I said if you are truly beating 80% that don't know about PRNT SCRN...then you don't have a truly great product.

I think you heavily overestimate the technical abilities of the general public.

No really, but you'd fall under them.

If it's worth stealing a print screen will not save you...I would trust me on this.

It doesn't matter what you or I think, cuz they feel good about the solution.

That is, if I get it to work.

i would go old school 🙂), print the forms blank, send them to people by postal mail with posted envelope and then have the people resend them back 😀 ==just a joke==

in fact, adobe = fail, except for photoshop

Oh? What's your beef with Illustrator? Or InDesign? I'd imagine you totally hate Postscript. Flash is so terrible.

I finally gave up on Adobe forms and starting making everything with Infopath. They integrate better in an all MS shop anyway. The users can save the filled out form. You can also submit it to many email addresses at the same time based on what parts of the form are filled out. Worked out a lot better than Adobe, and my end users found it easier to manage.
