You're right. I didn't even think of that when I pulled up Character Map to find the symbol.

Kelvin was degrees kelvin when I was was in junior high school but even my college freshman physics text makes note of the usage change. Wikipedia states the "degree" term was dropped in 1967-1968 and I should know better. Thanks for correcting me. :)

It is now warmer: 270.9 K.
