When did this happen? I haven't checked the website in a couple of weeks, but just went there today on a boring browse of the web and noticed the Federal Government took it over. Crazyness, I guess the guy who ran it thought he could avoide the law since he wasn't doing anything illegal, but once again the Justice Department found a way to get the bad guy. This time he was selling "mod chips" which are illegal, and they took him down for it. Wow.

David Rocci, a.k.a ?krazy8,? pled guilty in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia on December 19, 2002, to conspiring with others to violate federal copyright laws by illegally importing, marketing, and selling modification, or "mod," chips

Guess the date ;)

a site that has an archive of information about "official" releases by warez groups. it doesn't actually contain any pirated software though.

There is a ripoff site that replaced it, izonews, and it is updated about once a month.
