Speaking as a fan, Val's portrayal of Morrison in the Doors was awesome. It was Stone's script deviating from the truth that made the movie less than perfect. And Jim got a bit heavy before "the end" yaknow, and he was only 27. Kilmer is 46.

UM its kinda what happens when you get older. Especially for the skinny people who used to be able to eat and eat and eat and never gain a pound then one year, WHAM, your a fvcking cow. I know both my brothers used to be able to eat whatever and not gain a drop. I sniff food however and gain 10 lbs. Now its catching up to them. So much so my brother just had a Heart attack and hes only 38 years old. Told him he got to stop eating the damn fast food and working 20 hours a day. Hes not a teen anymore , fatty fats fat.

Yeah, loved that movie too, he did some of the songs, he was awesome.
