I like 1600x1200, but I think it's overrated since I run most of my stuff in different windows (RH8). :p

As far as I understand, this monitor has external PSU, doesn't it? Do you find it irritating or not?

Anyone know of any DVI screens that have native 16x12 resolutions? 16x12 is a prefect aspect ratio for 8x6, etc, so I want to keep my screen in those dimensions. 12x10 is nice, but it looks funny when coming from 4:3. My perfect screen will be DVI, at least 19" and 16x12 native.

It's the same thing as a laptop power supply. It's a small box about 4 inches long x 2 inches wide x 1 inch tall.

Just set it by the power strip. I have this monitor at work and love it, but I don't think I could get use to it at home for game playing.

Yeah, like most of our LCDs (we have several ViewSonic VG171's), it has an external PSU, but doesn't bug me.

Go go aspect ratio error!

Everything fits nicer :)
I find 1280x960 to be too "tall and skinny"... I dunno. Just got used to it this way I guess.

Well, UPS came about an hour ago. :)

All I can say is this monitor is the sexiest thing I've ever put on my desk. No dead pixels, checked with LCDTest. 1280x1024 looks great, 1600x1200 would've been way too small for my tastes. There was a little ghosting in Mafia, but nothing I can't get used to. Now to check out some other games. :)
