Damn, thats sexy!!

I remember when the price of gas eclipsed $1.20 I was pretty pissed. I had gotten used to $0.99-$1.10 during high school. Luckily I didn't need to drive during college and grad school.

I remember 10 years ago gas was $0.99, and when new gas stations opened they would sell it for $0.79.

I dunno about you guys, but I remember when the gas was CONSTANTLY 99 cents. Every cycle it would slowly drop to 60 or 70 cents, then jump back up to 99 and the cycle would restart.

None of my friends ever remember this. I'm 18. Why is this so weird?

I'm not in the US, but up until 2002, the gasoline prices here were reasonable, i.e. around $1.5 a gallon, considering that India didnt have its own resources much and imported gasoline entirely (more than 95%), along with the import duties, it seemed like a reasonable price........Now its around 5 - 5.5$ a gallon....
