Damn thats a lot of money!

$500 for each unsolicited fax? How bout they do that for unsolicited EMAILS. That is something I would love to see.
 
Back in 1994, I personally counted, with my own two hands and eyes, $396,988 US Dollars....I'll never forget that numeber. It was mostly in 20's, 10's and fives. Was working retail back then. Was management. That was the Fri-Sun cash intake for the store, and it was my turn that weekend to "count and verify" along with two other managers. Just seeing BAGS full of twenty dollar bills made me shiver.


Got news for you; that's not "a lot of money", but when it's RIGHT THERE, sitting on the desk in front of you in neat little piles, you just want to strip naked and rub the money into your genitalia....that's how SEXY it was. It was the most money I'd ever seen in one place...and I TOUCHED it all.

Anyway, good riddance to this thing. junk fax sucks even more than junk email since they waste your own ink/toner and paper!!!
 
There is a company sending me spam by email. I have opted-out of their solicitations by using the 'remove me' opt-out thing, which is usually a hook that tells them they have active email address.

Anyhoo, I did this 'Remove Me' thing twice and documented it both times. I even saved the webpage showing "Your request to be removed has been received. Please allow up to 48 hours for your request to be processed." They are still sending me email.

As of now, its up to eight emails, at $500 a piece that's four grand. I'm just waiting until it gets up to around 100 emails, then I'll sue for 50 grand. I'll settle for $30K, or maybe I'll invoke the "triple award" for punitive damages, it depends how much they piss me off.
