Look, if you go with your friend, and you'll end up going home jacking to "The L word". If you go with your "date" who knows what will happen....

Just go with the freshman. Don't spoil it for her.

it is MY prom.

so then you've already made up your mind and you're wasting our time by asking and then shooting everything down when you don't hear the answer you want.

Typical guapo337 thread.

Since you have a closer relationship with your friend than you do this unnamed Freshman simply tell her that you apologize you're backing out but are going with your best friend. You don't have a lot to lose since you don't seem to know her as well. It's your life and you'll only be young once.

You invite a freshman to the prom and then drop her at the last minute and you'll be going to YOUR prom with a broken arm after her older brother gets done with you...

Uh... Go with both? Problem Solved.

Two girls for every boy!

edit: wear a total pimp suit. Dark Blue or purple suit and a hat with a feather coming out of it and some gatorskin boots. The have a nice walking cane, and the two sluts hanging off of you.

Did I say sluts?

I will edit mine a bit though... We had a GREAT post-prom both times (by we I mean JUST me and my girlie.... YAHOOO!) Then again that was a typical Saturday night I guess... just we were dressed up a bit more and such.

Ah cripes... I want to be young again!

It is annoying to see members like you, as well as others, seek advice yet get pissy when you don't hear the advice/answer you wanted. You made up your mind, don't make a thread about it.

How good is your word?

BTW, there is no drama here unless you create it.

she's an only child and prom isnt for a month.

Dude it's pretty d!ck to ditch the freshmen a MONTH before prom. By now, she's already got all the appointments for nails, hair, etc. Also, shes more then likely got her entire outfit picked out for occasion. If it was like 3 months before the prom and this dilemma arose fine, but doing it now is pretty d!ck.

Your friend doesn't have a date right now, and probably isn't expecting to get one if its a month a way. It's your friends fault for not finding one. If she's even halfway decent, she should not have had a problem.

Do the right thing and take the freshmen.
